Butter Cake Recipe


°2 c all-purpose flour

°1 1/4 c sugar

°1 t baking powder

°1 t salt

°1/2 c butter, softened

°1 c milk

°1 t vanilla extract 2 eggs

*Methods :

Preheat oven to 350*F. Greased & flour two 8-inch x 2-inch baking pans and set aside.

In  bowl, sifting flour, sugar, baking powder also salt.

Adding butter, milk also vanilla. Using hand blender, beat for 2 min, scraping down sides of bowl occasionally.

Adding eggs & beat for 2 min.

Pour batter to prepared pans, dividing between pans. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove from oven.

Let cool in pans for 10 minutes, then invert cakes onto a cooling rack to cool completely.

Frost with your favourite frosting. I used my favourite chocolate frosting, one on back of Hersey cocoa box.
