Cherry Dr. Pepper cake πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹


Chocolate Cake Mix: 1 pack 
Dr. Pepper Cherry Soda: 1 1/2 c
 Maracino cherries: 1 jar (I always remove 24 cherries from the jar and set them aside)
Sweet, unsalted cream butter: 1 c (soft)
Powdered sugar: 3 c + 2 c if needed
Chocolate chips: 1 pack, if desire (found at Hobby Lobby)

How to make Dr. Pepper cherry cake

To preparing cake:
1. I always set  oven temperature to 350°F before I start.
2. Using pam baking spray, spray a 9 x 13 baking dish; Sit aside.
3. Then mix the cake and soda mixture in the stand mixer until homogeneous.
4. Be sure to cutting cherries in half. And please mix it into the mixture.
5. The cake mixture should be poured into the baking dish at this point.
6. Once cooked, bake in  oven or until a toothpick comes out clean, it takes about half an 1 h .
7. The last step is to allow  cake to cool completely before decorating.
For cherry frosting:
1. Beat butter, powder sugar, and cherry juice together with a stand mixer until smooth and frothy.
2. You may want to adding cup of icing sugar if  garnish is too thin.
3. Be sure to pour the decorations on the cake. Using an angled spatula, smooth evenly.
4. Alright now, sprinkling chocolate chips over the icing. Always remember to add a few cherries.
5. Finally, refrigerate for 60 min for the icing to freeze before slicing!
